What I learned during WWW

Filed under: Uncategorized —— leopardoliver @ 9:43 am

For Week Without Walls this year I went to Thailand, where I had many wonderful experiences. During the trip some of the memorable things I learned were how it feels to be in a minibus without a seat belt going fast on winding mountain roads, how to haggle in south-east Asia and of course I learned about Thai culture.

On the way around Thailand to all the places we had to drive up and down mountains in small minibuses without seatbelts, which was a memorable experience. On the last day of the trip we went to the night market where there was a lot of stuff to buy very cheap, where I learned that with the right tactics you can buy things for 40% of the original price. Throughout the trip I was able to enjoy the wonders of Thai culture, seeing Thai boxing and Thai dancing on one night, and Thai people doing whatever it is they do every day of the trip.

What a wonderful week without walls.

Young people afraid of change too?

Filed under: Uncategorized —— leopardoliver @ 5:45 am

I used to think only old people were afraid of change. I was proven wrong when I recieved an invitation to the facebook group: “1,000,000 strong against the new facebook”. This is ridiculous as the new facebook has only improvements, so it seems that now young people are afraid of change as well.

People – How much is too much?

Filed under: Uncategorized —— leopardoliver @ 2:19 am

Every year more people are born and not enough people die. Before long the entire world will be like China, overpopulated and very poluted. I don’t know who would have the heart to kill all those people, but someone will eventually have to do it - if we don’t, global warming will.
